The Marketing screen decides whether sellers can join the product discounts you create, and whether you approve each request.
Go to Configure >> Marketplace >> Marketing.
| Setting | What it does |

| Enable Product Discount Join | Lets sellers join the product discounts you open to them. When off, the Join Product Discounts page disappears for sellers, Joined Product Discounts disappears from your menu, and discounts sellers had already joined stop lowering their prices. |
| Auto-Approve Join Requests | Approves a seller's request to join as soon as they send it. When off, requests wait under Marketplace >> Marketing >> Joined Product Discounts until you approve them, and only approved sellers get the discount. |
Both settings are on until you change them, and both are saved for each channel.
Sellers can join product discounts only. Checkout deals can't be joined, even though the section's description mentions them.
